How To Use The Blog Shortcode
Step 1 – Navigate to the ‘Pages’ tab on your WP Admin Sidebar, then create a new page or edit an existing one.
Step 2 – Click the ‘Fusion Page Builder’ page to switch to the Fusion Builder.
Step 3 – Click the ‘Builder Elements’ tab, then select the ‘Blog’ shortcode from the list of elements.
Step 4 – Click the ‘Edit’ icon on the Blog shortcode to bring up the Options window. Here, you can select different options for the blog shortcode. This allows major flexibility to use it on multiple pages with different options, or even multiple instances of it on the same page, like for a magazine style layout. Each instance of the blog shortcode allows for different settings.
Step 5 – Click ‘Publish’ to save the page.
Fusion Theme Options For The Assigned Blog Page
When using the blog shortcode, the general Fusion Theme Options on the Blog tab will not work. This is because each blog shortcode has its own set of options built directly into the shortcode. This allows you to set all the options per instance of the shortcode. The single post page options in Fusion Theme Options will still apply, though.
