Shear fatigue

The effect of repeated loads on reinforced concrete elements without shear reinforcement can lead to the formation of diagonal cracks, and their progressive propagation until failure. Fatigue tests have been carried out and models have been proposed for the analysis of this type of fatigue process in structural elements.
